My family once owned White Plains in Hanover Co. They were the wynns (Georgeanna, Virginia & Soloman (John). We cannot locate the records of who was buried there in the family graveyard. The stones have been long removed along with the Elletts. Anybody with information please contact me. Thanks, greatly

My name is Barry Wayne Jones, SR. My great-grand and grandparents were born in VA. I am trying to find out their burial place, and their slave owners burial place too.

Great-grandfather-Phineas Hansberry born 1843 in St. Brides, Norfolk, VA- father's maternal grandparents Great-grandmother- Salena Hansberry born 1850 in St. Brides, Norfolk, VA " " " I believe they were owned by a man named Wm R. Hansberry born about 1814

Great-grandfather-Isaac Jones born 1850 in Windsor, Isle of Wright, VA- father's paternal grandparents Great-grandmother- Fannie Jones born 1855 in Windsor, Isle of Wright, VA- " " " I believe they were own by a man named Robert S. Jones born about 1822.

Where did they bury Blacks in those days, and would there be a marker? Also, are there any grave sites pertaining to Robert S. Jones, and Wm R. Hansberry? Would you happen to know if there were any plantations named Hansberry or Jones?

Thank you in advance for your timely, and valuable assistance.

Respectfully,
Barry Wayne Jones, Sr., D. D.
